IVIRMA is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Nurse to join our growing team at our Basking Ridge, NJ location.

The OHN will be responsible for managing employee health across the United States including creation of health wellness programs, covid contract tracings, remaining active with CDC advised safety protocol and maintaining employee health records.

Responsibilities:

• Remain actively current with all health and safety legislation in states where IVI sites are located
• Ensure the health and safety of the workers by inspecting the worksite to maintain health and safety standards
• Educate employers and employees on workplace safety and other issues
• Coordination of employee antigen and/or antibody testing and reporting of results
• COVID contact tracing
• Track/manage workers comp cases
• Help to maintain employee health files including immunization records (ie. Hep B)
• Manage PPD administration/records
• Organize annual flu shot clinic
• Assist HR with managing medical leaves of absence
• Help to track/obtain MD clearances to return to work

• Triage/provide emergency care to employees injured or sick on the job
• Develop employee wellness programs such as smoking cessation programs, fitness programs, nutritional counseling, stress management programs and education, etc.
• Assist ASC with accreditation requirements including emergency preparedness and disaster planning
• Assist with planning annual blood drive
• Organize employee health clinics/wellness fairs/step competitions, etc
• Write/maintain policies on workplace safety, infection control, etc

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Occupational/Employee Health– required
• Bachelor’s Degree – required
• COHN or COHN-S Certification – highly preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – required
• Flexibility to work weekdays with weekends and rotational holidays - required
• Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills to manage sensitive patient situation properly - required
• BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification - preferred
• High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic – required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - preferred
