Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, seeks a Lead Web Developer to join our team at our corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

The Lead Web Developer works both independently and manages a team of developers who focus on creating and improving all of Toll Brothers’ websites and marketing applications. As an expert, this role is building the next generation of real estate websites and applications using modern technology and cloud platforms.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Manage a team of developers and help distribute work to develop and maintain TollBrothers.com, microsites for communities and ancillary businesses, and web applications for sales centers
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand their needs and help develop technical specs to create the app or website they need
  • Assist, train, and help the developers when they encounter issues/problems
  • Develop and maintain TollBrothers.com, microsites for communities and ancillary businesses, and web applications for sales centers
  • Transform designs and business requirements into functional website components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments
  • Assist with the deployment and development of our continuous deployment processes
  • Review other team members’ code and approve or suggest improvements
  • All other duties as assigned

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • 5 years of experience building functioning and responsive websites
    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
    • Experience with and an understanding of NextJS and/or ReactJS
    • Clear understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Ability to take a comp from Sketch/Photoshop and convert it into responsive semantic markup for the web
    • Experience with Git
    • Experience with mySQL and NoSQL databases
    • An understanding of Core Web Vitals and Accessibility
  • Preferred:
    • 1+ years managing/leading a team of developers
    • Experience managing software development projects in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Experience with Progressive Web Apps
    • Experience with React Server Side Rendered/Static Sites
    • Familiar with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
