About:

The JPMorgan Digital Platform enables the rapid development of applications by providing robust frameworks and services through an intuitive developer experience. It offers capabilities that enable an application to provide its users with a modern digital experience. These include platform services such as notifications, search, authentication, and authorization.

As a Platform Engineer, you will develop the control and data planes that provide a consistent interface for provisioning, configuring, and consuming platform services into applications. You will be responsible for the service that manages service configuration, the code frameworks and tools that enable platform services to integrate with common infrastructure, and the APIs for onboarding applications to the Digital Platform.

You will also work with engineering leads across the Digital Platform to integrate services to the control and data planes.

Required Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including:
  • Custom Resources
  • Controllers
  • Operators
  • Service Brokers
• Hands-on development with Golang and Java/Spring Boot
• Developing API-driven services in the public/private cloud
• Building code frameworks, tools, and/or services for use by developers
• Engineering high availability, distributed, and resilient systems
• Configuring and executing performance tests
• Establishing effective monitoring and alerting
• Linux shell scripting
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a global team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering services integrated into a platform
• Command line interface development
• ReactJS
• GraphQL
