POSITION DESCRIPTION
AUTO BODY REPAIR TEAM
ADESA is looking for great painters to join our body shop team! This team plays a crucial role in our vehicle reconditioning and sale ready process. Whether you’re intermediate, or consider yourself an expert, we want to talk with you if:

Automotive Painter
Reviews repair plan R.O. as assigned
Repairs vehicles per R.O. and in accordance with OEM standards
Inspects body work for imperfections prior to surface prep
If necessary, may be required to paint prep
Performs mold release preparation on raw plastic bumpers as necessary
Properly mixes and performs proper color matching
Applies base and clear coat to assigned areas including blending and feathering as required
Inspects refinish areas for imperfections and addresses each as necessary
Manages of the collection, disposal, and storage of hazmat’s
Maintains spray booth and equipment
Maintains and wears all required safety and health PPE
