The team you'll be part of

Cloud and Network Services

As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.


Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Science, Cloud Technologiesetc. or related field with an accredited school in US.


What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for a talented, motivated intern with strong background and skills in front end and backend software development.

  • You will contribute to Nokia Spectrum Management Service – a foundational element of the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) solution in Nokia Cloud and Network Services (CNS) business unit.
  • You will learn cutting edge spectrum management cloud solutions for 4G/5G wireless networks and play a major role in developing customer-facing services as well as administration and operations services for such solutions using full stack frameworks and tools.
  • You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment where you will develop in-depth understanding of new technology concepts and associated web-based workflows in modern cloud based spectrum management solution.
  • You will work closely with the team leader and members of our multi-location team to design and implement the frontend and backend components of the workflows and integrate them with the spectrum management control system.
  • In addition to traditional software development, you will need to be learn state-of-the art cloud, database, analytics and deep learning and streaming technologies in our implementation platform.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Background in computer networking, network protocols, web protocols, OS, containers, Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of wireless communications and 4G/5G architecture, dynamic spectrum access

  • Experience of working in modern CI/CD environment will be a plus
