Responsibilities:

Self-starter with ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm

Certify release builds in Quality Engineering (QE) and Production environments

Expand and maintain our existing test automation framework and test coverage

Analyze complex software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability, and quality

Develop and execute test plans and test cases

Minimum qualifications:

Strong knowledge of QE methodology and testing tools

5+ years of experience in a QE Engineering role with focus on front-end and UI automation testing

Solid experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting language.

5+ years of experience testing vanilla JS frontend code (unit, integration, UI, end-to-end, etc.)

3+ years of experience in automated testing frameworks for validation of web applications across different browsers and platforms with focus on Selenium or Puppeteer.

3+ years of experience locating DOM elements using selectors in JavaScript

Solid understanding of client-server architectures and web browser technology

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail

Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills with web applications and APIs

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

Experience testing Chrome Extensions

Experience with Native mobile app automation using frameworks like Appium, Robotium, Selenoid etc.

Significant experience with both Node.js and Python

Experience with automation orchestration frameworks like Cypress

Experience implementing/working on CI/CD pipeline

Experience with libraries in the modern web build toolchain such as Webpack, Babel, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme

AI driven test automation
