Work you'll do:

As the Communications Spcialist/Manager for the global Maestro program, you will help develop and execute activation strategies across a complex group of global stakeholders in support of executive insights and experiences. You’ll accelerate the evolution of global eminence/thought leadership, along with the rollout of new concepts and programs in support of elevating relationship-building with the C-Suite and Board.

Your work will pave the way for a matrixed organization to go to market with a unified voice, including Signature Issue insights that address essential topics for global executives and board members as they deal with disruption on many fronts – topics such as resilient leadership, organizational trust, climate/ESG and digital transformation. This includes managing various communications plans and utilizing a vast network of global internal channels to promote ways to transform and better orchestrate our global eminence efforts.

Reporting to the Maestro Communications and Marketing Director, you’ll focus on storytelling, writing, copy editing, message development and PowerPoint slide creation to bring new concepts to life internally among Deloitte professionals. You’ll help advance cross-Signature Issue communications strategy, alumni comms strategy and connect the dots across various program components, including:

  • Developing creative internal campaigns to break through the clutter
  • Producing consistent positioning and messaging across the firm internally and externally
  • Capturing results and conducting metrics and ROI analysis to assess success and inform campaign development
  • Building relationships and collaborating cross-firm with other communicators and marketers, creatives and leaders across multiple geographies
  • Developing and executing communications plans
  • Liaising with marketing professionals to support external promotional efforts with complementary internal tactics

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Business or related area
  • Minimum of 5 years’ internal communications experience in a professional services and/or large corporate setting
  • Experience supporting or leading a communications workstream within a key project or program preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills – with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple complex projects/priorities/issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills – able to expertly position and tell compelling stories to influence both internal and external audiences and able to develop executive-ready materials
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a matrixed organization with a virtual team
