New York City real estate development firm is seeking a full time Compliance Manager / Class 1 Filing Representative.

Responsibilities:

Oversee, from start to finish, NYC Building Department filings

Submit NYC DOB documents, obtain approvals, and process work permits

Ensure compliance & clear building violations with government agencies such as DOB, Landmarks, HPD, DEP, DOT, & ECB

Close out open applications with DOB or various other city agencies in order to obtain Certificate of Occupancy

Coordinate with project managers, architects, trades, and various city agencies

Qualifications:

Class 1 or Class 2 Filing Representative

Proficient knowledge in NYC Building and Zoning Codes

Experienced with the Department of Buildings filing system and procedures

Knowledgeable with related city agencies that require filings parallel with the DOB; i.e. Landmarks, DOF, DOT, and HPD.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
