Job Description


At the PlowShare Group, the role of media will be to go beyond the standard practice of measuring and achieving campaign and client goals. Our mission in media will be to deliver those results and use them as a force in rebuilding trust between our core institutions, whether in government or public service, and the people that they serve. We will do that by developing and fostering a functional and transparent media organization dedicated to that same mission of service that will engage audiences within environments and entities that have common values and missions so that we can foster trust, action, and behavior change with them for our clients.

Reporting to the VP, Director of Media Operations, PlowShare’s Paid Social Media Manager will be responsible for management and execution of Paid Social Media Campaigns across key clients. The Paid Social Media Manager will be the day-to-day steward of paid social media for assigned brands and is responsible for leading campaign development, activation, and innovation. This role will work alongside media planning teams to ensure social activity is optimized toward client campaign goals. The Paid Social Media Manager will demonstrate expertise across all social platforms including Meta, TikTok, SnapChat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and others in order to continuously provide clients with best practices and recommendations for success. This person will also work alongside internal and client social media teams to ensure alignment with content marketing strategies across social platforms.


Core Responsibilities

  • Main Paid Social POC for clients and partner agencies
  • Develop strategy in partnership with Client Services team and VP, Media Operations Director
  • Responsible for the execution of strategy and achievement of KPIs
  • Accountable for the delivery of all projects to agreed deadlines
  • Oversight of campaign implementation including traffic, QA, and other campaign related social media documents
  • Ultimate accountability for pacing, bid adjustments, optimizations and managing account budgets
  • Main point of contact for social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) and third-party reps
  • Responsible for the management and overall career development of the Social team
  • Ensure best practice, develop program testing plans and adoption of new features or processes
  • Liaise with other channel managers, creative, media planning, and account teams
  • Engage with internal and client social media teams for visibility, insight, and ability to leverage content development, content calendars and scheduled posts
  • Build strong relationships across client services team and with client.
  • Lead meetings and monthly reporting calls as needed
  • Assist in provided social media expertise on new business pitches upon request

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a digital ad agency, with a focus in Paid Social
  • 1-2 years of managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team
  • Complete mastery of Social platforms and third-party tools, including Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and more
  • Passion for social media and extensive knowledge of emerging media technology and platforms
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Comfort and strength in data aggregation, manipulation, and analysis
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment
  • Strong project and resource management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Good writing skills, for both client facing communications and to summarize insights in a concise manner
  • Strong public speaking, to discuss campaign strategies, tactics, and reports with clients in meetings
  • Background in federal, public health, non-profit or healthcare social media campaigns a plus
