Working in close partnerships with our ServiceNow team, as a ServiceNow System Administrator you’ll seek to enhance and uplift the current business pipeline of Ovocy. The key element of the role will be responsibility for the development and administration of client’s IT Service Management environment, to create complex system configuration, development of custom features, enhancements, and complex report and database query development based on customer requirement.

Reporting into the ServiceNow team, you’ll contribute to own the development tasks of the solution based on integration of Service Now. The ideal candidate will understand configuration management principles. They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations on ServiceNow platform.

You’ll be instigating and driving cultural change to provide an environment to enable the teams to design/provide better, faster, more effective solutions, by building upon your existing knowledge and ability. And by shaping your world around working your way, you can shape the way the world learns, travels, buys, lives and works

Core Responsibilities

  • Form & Field dictionary management-for ex. New field addition or modification of existing field
  • Form/view layout changes, related list addition/modifications
  • Add/modify ACL (considering future scope)
  • Validation of ACL for troubleshooting
  • Create/update SLA definition, schedules and respective workflows
  • Creation or modification of the advance transform map scripts. These scripts are important in order to transfer the data smoothly into ServiceNow
  • Advance Import sets scripts
  • Create/modify Service Catalog and workflow
  • Create Application/module and manage visibility of those
  • Manage application and forms linking & visibility
  • Build new workflow and customize Out of Box workflows for various applications including Service catalogue /fulfilment request, change management, problem management, service level agreement including custom IT /non- IT applications
  • Manage and develop various client side objects like Client script, UI policies, UI actions, UI scripts , email scripts, server side objects like Business rules, Script include, Workflow scripts, Schedule, notifications, dashboards, reports
  • Advance level of debugging to resolve issue related to scripts
  • Custom application development and enhancement

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience using JavaScript, XML, and HTML
  • ServiceNow System Admin certification (admin or higher)
  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications
  • Experience in IT service management, ITIL certification preferred
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria
  • ITIL v3 Certification
  • Ability to analyze raw results, determine/resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and results;
  • 3-5 years’ experience with ServiceNow administration
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.
