We would like to see someone who has:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in software development
• 2+ years leading a team, with proven ability coaching others and improving their technical capabilities
• Extensive experience designing large scale web applications across the entire stack using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#, Javascript) and React, with a proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
• Understanding of core JavaScript concepts, and practical experience building robust stateful web applications
• Demonstrated expertise in building high-quality scalable applications from JS to DB with one or more of the following: REST APIs, GraphQL API, Web Frameworks and one or more Javascript libraries such as React or Vue
• Technical leadership on strategic projects that solve complex problems across many teams, with proven significant business impact

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at StubHub, you’ll be able to:

• Provide technical strategic direction as you collaborate with multiple teams to design major services, frameworks, toolsets, and features
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across StubHub's platforms and products with agility and resulting in high-quality outcomes.
• Help build and mentor a team of software engineers, championing process and culture improvements within the Engineering organization and increasing the team’s technical capabilities
