Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Join a team of 2 Product Managers and work cross-functionally with stakeholders, product, development and QA to created designs for Mobile Health applications
• Understand the customer need, seeking insights and use cases to develop user stories
• Create wire frames, low fidelity, and high fidelity screen designs for the team to execute
• Consult with the product manager and development team to review design interaction and provide reviews and collaborative feedback
• Help conduct user experience research and apply learnings to improve our existing features as well as exploring new product opportunities.
• Gather product requirements and communicate design decisions to stakeholders across the company.
• Be an advocate for the customer in terms of their representation in product design and interaction
• Create test cases to evaluate usability with measurable data which can inform the iterative design process
• Exude passion for illustrating ideas using storyboards, process flows, site maps, etc.
• Prepare and present concepts, ideas, storyboards, and process flows to internal stakeholders for review and approval

Experience & Education

• A knowledge of healthcare design and demonstrated experience is preferable but not required
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Expert user of design Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
• Passionate about delivering thoughtful and human-centered designs and experiences.
• Receptive to feedback and open to collaborating with multiple stakeholders and designers.
• Ability to take a conceptual idea to prototype to show proof of concept
• Experience designing across multiple device types and sizes.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to articulate design decisions.
• Strong visual sense and interest in trends in visual design and usability.
• A thoughtful body of past work that clearly communicates your process, the outcomes, and the contributions you made.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or a commensurate level of experience.
• Two to four years’ experience with ability to show a portfolio of work.
• Ongoing certifications, associations, or learning in the field of UX/UI.
