Wealth Management, Portfolio Manager, Trade Coordination

As a member of PMG's Trade Coordination team responsibilities will include:
  • Understand intricacies of tactical trades including: investment rationale, vehicle selection, platform capabilities, constraints, and client impact.
  • Pro-actively identify and articulate roadblocks to trading activity and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct data intensive analysis of tactical trades to estimate size and impact. Identify and execute innovative solutions to automate and improve analysis.
  • Drive strategic initiatives partnering with technology to enhance MIS and Trade Planning capabilities.
  • Constant communication to update and syndicate next steps with various stakeholders.
  • Maintain knowledge of the investment solutions utilized throughout Private Banking, including, mutual funds, exchange traded funds, structured notes, hedge funds, and separately managed accounts.

Candidate requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a finance or related discipline. CFA or progress toward attaining CFA designation preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years work experience in financial services industry with Wealth Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated solid understanding of investments with keen interest in broadening knowledge of portfolio management
  • Demonstrated track record of building relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver error free work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in tailoring communication to different audiences.
  • Strong technical skills with expertise in Excel and experience working with large data sets - any programming experience (Python or otherwise) a plus
