Software Development Manager will lead the development, enhancement and maintenance of Transaction Services platforms. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong global development teams and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.

What you will be responsible for

As Software Development Manager you will

• Lead development projects across predominantly Java / J2EE / Modern UI based technologies
• Managing the successful delivery of projects will require him / her to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle
• Work closely with the department’s Project Managers, coordinating business analysts, architects and developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required.
• Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed and come up with solutions

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 10 - 15 years of commercial software development, proficient in developing complex UI solutions
• Experience in web UI development using ReactJS & AngularJS and SQL development is highly desirable
• Basic understanding of REST API and Object Oriented programming using Java
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Knowledgeable of commercial software development,
• Professional Java development experience, core Java and Multithreading
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills
• Able to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
• Experience working with an Agile development methodology is desired
• Experience dealing with XMLs / JSON object structure
• Kafka / MQ
• Relational Database skills in Oracle / Postgres NO SQL
• Good hands on experience with Development IDEs like Eclipse, Debugging code, deploying and testing local projects

• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to the business needs
• Strong communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.
• Strong collaboration skills, working with multiple teams in various locations in an agile environment.
